Study to determine prospectively the occurrence and clinical characteristics of fibromyalgia in
patients serially presenting to a postpolio clinic. Fibromyalgia may mimic some of the symptoms of
postpoliomyelitis syndrome, a disorder characterized by new weakness, fatigue, and pain decades after
paralytic poliomyelitis
